Get College Smart is in need of a few good writers who have advice to share with college students.  Whether you are a college student, faculty member or employee at a college or university, or a high school teacher or counselor, we'd love to share your wisdom with our readers.

All submissions should be emailed to The Professor at askcollegesmart@gmail.com.  Articles should be at least 350 to 500 words in length (please stay within these word count restrictions).  Be sure to use proper grammar and mechanics throughout your article, and carefully proofread your work.  The Professor reserves the right to edit all submissions for grammar, mechanics, and spelling prior to publishing your work.

In addition to your article, please submit a brief biography that demonstrates your familiarity with the subject matter you address in your article and your professional position (i.e. college student; history professor; college admissions counselor, etc.)

Preference will be given to writers who submit their work from a legitimate .edu email address.

If your submission is accepted for publication on this blog, you will be notified via email.  Your article will be published no sooner than one week after it is accepted for publication and no later than three months after its acceptance.  You will be credited for the article, and your relevant biographical details will be included (professional position; research; publications; expertise, etc.).

At this time, Get College Smart cannot offer payment for published articles.  However, you are encouraged to list your published work on your professional resume or curriculum vitae.
